Cool Dad

Eve (Charlotte Coffey) sneaks out in the middle of the night to hang out with her estranged father (Dan Wilson), a washed-up rocker clinging to the remnants of his youthful charm. At first, he's everything she idolizes, but as the night wears on, that facade gives way to immaturity, narcissism, and bitterness, especially toward Eve's mom (Dawn Collet). Through her eyes, the man she once put on a pedestal is revealed to be deeply flawed, forcing her to confront both her own illusions and the steady presence of the parent she's always overlooked.
