Cool Dad

Eve (Charlotte Coffey) sneaks out in the middle of the night to hang out with her estranged father (Dan Wilson), a washed-up rocker clinging to the remnants of his youthful charm. At first, he's everything she idolizes - cool, fun-loving, spontaneous - but as the night wears on, that facade gives way to immaturity, narcissism, and bitterness, especially toward Eve's mom (Dawn Collet). Through her eyes, the man she once put on a pedestal is revealed to be deeply flawed, forcing her to confront both her own illusions and the steady presence of the parent she's always overlooked.
